The Gender Education, Engagement, Empowerment, and Entrepreneurship Programme (GEEEEP) is a transformative initiative of the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagements.

GEEEEP is designed to address critical issues affecting young people and students across Nigeria, with a strong focus on gender inclusion, educational advancement, civic engagement, economic empowerment, and entrepreneurial development.

Through innovative programmes, policy advocacy, and grassroots engagement, GEEEEP creates opportunities for Nigerian girls and young women to gain the knowledge, confidence, skills, and opportunities they need to participate, grow, lead, and thrive.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement

Comrade Sunday Asefon

A youth advocate and former National President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Asefon brings a strong background in student leadership and youth engagement. Through his office, he conceptualized and launched GEEEEP as a strategic intervention focused on education, empowerment, digital skills, and economic opportunities for young women.

Hon. Dr. Mrs. Judith Mayen Etuk-Ogbara, Chairman of GEEEEP, is a public servant, entrepreneur, and advocate for gender equality and inclusive growth. She provides strategic leadership for GEEEEP, drawing from years of grassroots advocacy and philanthropic work to translate the programme’s vision into practical initiatives that create opportunities for young women across Nigeria.
