GEEEEP celebrates the successful completion of the first batch of the RISE Digital Training Programme, marking a major milestone in equipping young women with digital and entrepreneurial skills.
GEEEEP proudly celebrated the successful completion of the first batch of young women who participated in the RISE Digital Training Programme under the GEEEEP initiative. The sign-off marked an important milestone in the programme’s commitment to equipping young women with practical skills, confidence, and opportunities to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Over the course of the training, the participants were introduced to a range of valuable skills spanning digital literacy, storytelling, design, photography, and entrepreneurship. Beyond acquiring technical knowledge, the programme provided an environment where the trainees could discover their abilities, express themselves creatively, and begin to see new possibilities for their futures.
The journey was marked by remarkable growth. Participants who began with shy first steps gradually became more confident in presenting their ideas, demonstrating their skills, and engaging with others. Their transformation reflected the power of creating spaces where young women can learn, experiment, receive guidance, and build confidence in their abilities.
The RISE Digital Training Programme goes beyond classroom learning. By combining practical digital skills with mentorship, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking, the initiative seeks to prepare young women to take advantage of opportunities in the digital economy and become active contributors to their communities and the wider society.
The completion of the first batch is therefore not simply an end to a training period, but the beginning of a new chapter for the participants. With the knowledge and experiences gained throughout the programme, the young women are better positioned to pursue further learning, explore career opportunities, develop creative ventures, and use technology as a tool for personal and economic growth.
GEEEEP extends its appreciation to the mentors, facilitators, partners, and everyone who contributed to making the training possible. Their support continues to demonstrate what can be achieved when institutions and individuals come together to invest in the education and empowerment of young women.
As the RISE Digital Training Programme continues, GEEEEP remains committed to creating more opportunities for girls and young women to learn, grow, lead, and contribute meaningfully to national development. The first batch has completed its journey, but the larger mission continues. Together, we continue to RISE.
